i think you should add hp upgrades but make the hp upgrades endgame upgrades

addicting and fun, wish the sfx for parrying was a little more rewarding and exciting, but that might just be my tiktok monkey brain talking

I love the game 9.9/10 The only issue is it got almost impossible to get bronze coins once you started upping your silver chance a lot.

Really cool idea, is fun to just grind and trying to get better. absolute W 

I love the Game. Simple. Tree skills always Nice. Some minor Bugs already pointed out. Left we wanting for more. Core mechanic was fun. Music was too.

Simple game with a simple premise done very well! I'm a sucker for skill trees, so I was hooked until there was basically nothing left to do. Definitely has a lot of scalability potential!

Beat this game and I really like it!!!!! found some bugs tho.

Bug #1
on level 8 right after you press continue thanks for playing the demo sometimes the enemy spawns on top of you and you insta die always happens on level 8.

Bug #2
if you go back a level and beat the boss it will put you back onto whatever the highest level you've beaten is.

Bug??? #3 getting silver is SLOWW early on even with upgrades and gold is 10x worse even with upgrades.

Bug??? #4 spam clicking kinda defeats the game play of clicking and you can usually always parry its worse with clicking a key.

Bug???? #5 in the screenshots on the itch page it shows your stats on the bottom left idk if that's a debug screenshot you put up but that is not in the game.

none of these super impaired the game play but it was really fun tbh. would have preferred maybe a few more songs since listening to the same one over and over kinda sucks.

Wonderful game! The core mechanics is simple but interesting, and fits the theme quite well. What impress me most is the geometry art style, you used the simplest way of visual effect to create really cool stuff.

However, I think the lack of deepness makes the game quite "clicker", of course, which is not a flaw but a feature. It's just that I am not a big fan of clicker game, so I had not played really long. 

Anyway, great game and quite potential! I believe it would be great if you make a post-jam for it in the future.

Planning on making the enemy sequence more regular so the click timing becomes more important.

The upgrades boosting boss currency drop can cause problems because it's a limited currency. The later players buy it, the more they permanently miss out on boss currency. Of course, in the current version it's actually useless because only a few upgrades use boss currency.

Also, it would be nice to make it more visible what upgrades use what currencies.

Maybe i could color the upgrade box as the currency colors.
I was planning more boss token upgrades afterwards, just lacked time though.

there is a bug, when buying an max shield upgrade you just need to buy it once and it gives you shield as it was maxed

and one annoying thing i found is that after buying all the silver drop chance upgrades and drop amount, it reaches a point where i get more silver than i get bronze so it took me way  longer to get the upgrades that costed bronze

Some upgrades are only one level, so it is a feature.
I didn't reallize about the token drop. Maybe i should make silver and gold as addtional bonus to bronze token. Thanks for the feedback!

I have the same issue. I think what they meant is that when you buy an upgrade with multiple levels, buying the first level give you the effect of maxing the upgrade, while buying subsequent levels does nothing.
